Our founder and Managing Director, Stephen Bradshaw, boasts almost three decades of experience in the motorhome rental and related markets, having started in the industry as far back as 1981, when he set up the RCR Replacement Car Rentals franchise in Ireland’s Mid-West Region.
Six years later, he furthered his knowledge in this area when setting up Cara Renta-Car. This enterprise was so successful that, in 1990, he was requested by the area’s commercial and tourism development body, Shannon Development, to launch Ireland’s first ever motorhome rental company, Cara Motorhomes. Due to a fire Cara Motorhomes as he knew it ceased operation.
Stephen went on to launch his own company, Celtic Campervans bringing all his professional and management expertise to bear, yet still retaining the friendly, family feel which proves so popular with our national and international customers alike.
Stephen's business knowledge in the motorhome rental and sales market is second to none and that knowledge is just an email away.

Stephen R. Bradshaw, General Manager
Stephen R. Bradshaw – or ‘Brads’ to his friends and to distinguish him from Bradshaw Senior – is the second generation of the family to work in the business. His introduction to the motorhome industry began in his early teens when he worked for what he jokingly refers to as ‘buttons’, cleaning motorhomes returned by clients of his father.
On graduating from the University of Limerick in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree, Stephen initially pursued a path in marketing with leading Dublin Agency, Irish International Proximity, servicing major national clients such as Castlethorn Construction, Shell, Avonmore, The Carphone Warehouse, among others.
The call of the family business proved too strong, however, and he now lends his marketing skills to Celtic Campervans, with responsibility for all aspects of the company’s advertising and promotional activity.
