Conditions of Hire
Reservations:
A deposit of 250 Euro is required to secure an advance booking. Full rental charges are payable at least 28 days before the start of hire. A minimum discount of 5% will apply to the daily rate, to those who wish to pay in full at time of booking, provided it is more than 28 days before hire commences. Payments must be made by credit card or bank transfer.
Rental Opening Hours:
The office is open Monday to Saturday from 09.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs.
The office is closed on Sundays.
Collection / Return:
Collection of our Motorhomes is between 15.00hrs and 19.00hrs. The campervans can be returned to our premises from 08.00hrs to 10.00hrs at the end of the rental. Clients who wish to collect vehicles, before 15.00 hrs (no earlier than 10.00 hrs) will be charged an extra day at the beginning of their hire. Clients who vacate vehicles later than 10.00 hrs (before 16.00 hrs) will also be charged an extra day at the end of their hire. Clients arriving at Dublin airport will be collected and dropped off free of charge. Please advise your flight details so that we can arrange collection and drop off times with you. Insurance:
Drivers must have a full driving licence for 8 years. We request clients who do not have a licence for this length of time or who are over 70 years old to contact our office before booking. The insurance policy has an excess, that is, clients are responsible for the first 1000 Euro of damage. All accidents must be advised immediately. Where third parties are involved, their details must be furnished when the vehicle is returned. Only one additional driver is permitted.
Security Deposit:
The hirer is liable to pay a security deposit of 1000 Euro to cover incidents causing damage. This includes loss of skylights, mirrors, window or windscreen damage, impact with stationary objects, driver negligence, returning late or in an unsatisfactory condition, tyre damage etc. The hirer must notify us immediately of any accidents or mishaps that occur so that we may do everything possible to ensure the next client is not inconvenienced.
Cleaning:
The cleaning deposit of 200 Euro will be refunded when the Motorhome is returned cleaned internally. Out of respect for our employees, we must insist that the toilet is emptied and cleaned.
Deposit Total:
The total of the Damage and Cleaning deposits are 1200 Euro. Please ensure that your credit card is sufficiently funded so that this amount can be authorised at time of hire.
Fuel:
A full tank of fuel will be supplied, please return with the fuel tank full. Fuel used will be deducted from the cleaning deposit.
Road Tax:
Due to the introduction of the new barrier free tolling system on Irish roads, all our vehicles have been tagged for all tolls. The rate is €3 per day plus Government Tax.
Cancellation:
When six weeks notice is given of cancellation 100 Euro of the booking deposit is retained to cover administration costs. When six to four weeks notice is given the booking deposit of 250 Euro is forfeited. When less than four weeks notice is given, every effort will be made on our part to re-let the Motorhome. Should we be unable to do so, full rental charges will be forfeited. Celtic Campers advise that clients should have their own holiday/travel insurance to cover such loss.
Equipment:
An inventory of the equipment necessary for you to enjoy your holiday will be furnished and checked with you at the start and end of the hire period.
Conditions of Supply:
Whilst every effort will be made to supply the model ordered, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative vehicle should circumstances dictate.

It is an important condition of hire that unfortunately, animals are not allowed in the Motorhome.
Celtic Campervans accepts no responsibility for delays, which may occur at the start of hire due to circumstances beyond our control.
