Now we have finally reached our last province, Leinster. We have split the province in to two posts, this one and the final then next week. So why not enjoy the upcoming summer months with a campervan from us and travel around Ireland and experience these campervan sites first hand. First off is:


Ferrybank Caravan & Camping Park

Overlooking Wexford Harbour, Ferrybank Caravan & Camping is ideally located overlooking the Wexford Harbour. The park is only 20 km away from Rosslare Europort making it ideal for those looking to tour the sunny south east. There is a selection of beaches in close proximity to the park.

The park provides excellent facilities such as a 25m swimming pool, gym, sauna and a fully equipped gym. Concession rates are available to those using the caravan park.

Nore Valley Park

Nore Valley Park is a family run park situated on an open farm in Kilkenny. The park has won numerous awards Failte Ireland/ICC awards in between 1999 and 2003 and was winner of the Best Family Friendly Park in 2008.

The park provides facilities such as showers and hot water. The park is ideal for young families who can participate in assisting in animal feeding.

Tree Grove Campsite

Tree Grove campsite is set in a farm estate surrounded by large green fields and mature trees. The campsite has a number of hard standings for campervans to park up and admire views of Mount Leinster. The campsite is only a 20 minute walk from Kilkenny city.

The campsite provides facilities such as sheltered eating area, kitchen & Laundry, Games room and a TV room.

Camac Valley Tourist Caravan & Camping Park

Camac Valley is located on a 300 acre Park on the Naas Road. There are grassed walks, fishing lakes and a coffee shop and an animal farm for families to keep their kids entertained.

Fully serviced hardstands with water, electricity connections are readily available.

The park provides shower/toilet areas, camper’s kitchen and laundry room.

Ideally situated for those looking to travel around Dublin with a regular scheduled bus service pickup at the entrance gate.

  1. Please note: Curraghchase Campsite closed down in 2010 and has yet reopen. This is displayed within the park, but is still showing as open on many websites. I work in the park so have first hand information. Valid 15th June, 2014
